The rules for using Candlr, in plain language. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.
Candlr ("Candlr", "we", "us") is an online game for learning to read candlestick charts, run by Candlr at candlr.xyz. These terms apply to the website, the app and everything you do in it (the "Service").
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Service.
Candlr is an educational game. Nothing in the lessons, games, charts, AI coach or any other part of the Service is financial, investment, trading, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
The charts are historical market data used for practice. No real money is traded in Candlr, and past price behavior does not predict future results. Trading involves a high risk of loss. Make your own decisions, and talk to a licensed professional before you trade or invest.
Answers from the AI coach are generated automatically and can be wrong. Treat them as study help, not facts or advice.
You sign in with your Google account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Candlr. If you live in the EU or UK and are under 16, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your Google account secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using yours.
Your display name and character are shown on challenges and leaderboards. Do not choose a name that is offensive, impersonates someone, or contains personal information.
Candlr is free to start. Candlr Pro is an optional subscription, currently $5 per month or $39 per year (plus any tax shown at checkout). Pro unlocks the full course catalogue, unlimited games, the AI features and extra streak freezes, as described on the Pro page.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our merchant of record: they handle the checkout, charge your card, calculate and collect sales tax or VAT, and send your receipts. Their terms also apply to your purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. We will tell you in advance before any price change applies to you.
You can cancel anytime from Pro → Manage billing. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
Fair use: AI features have a generous daily limit to keep the Service fast and affordable for everyone.
If Pro is not for you, email tesfayemusie48@gmail.com within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.
Renewal payments are not refunded once the new period has started, but you can cancel at any time to stop the next one. Nothing here limits any refund rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
If you were charged by mistake or something went wrong with billing, contact us and we will make it right.

We may remove leaderboard entries, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Candlr's lessons, questions, design, code and branding belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal learning. Market data comes from third-party providers, and cartoon avatars are made with DiceBear under their creators' licenses (credited in your profile).
You keep any rights in what you submit, like your display name. You let us use it to run the Service, for example to show your name on a leaderboard.
We are always improving Candlr, so lessons, games and features may change. We try to keep the Service available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you on the site or by email before it applies. Continuing to use Candlr after that means you accept the new terms.
You can stop using Candlr at any time. To delete your account and data, email tesfayemusie48@gmail.com from the address you signed in with.
We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we close your account without a good reason, we will refund any unused part of a paid subscription.
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties about the accuracy of content, charts or AI answers, or that the Service will meet your needs.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any trading or investment losses, since Candlr does not give advice. Our total liability to you for anything related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer.
